“100 Years of Singing” Concert Series at the Main Hall

The Cairo Opera House continued its artistic project, “100 Years of Singing,” organized in cooperation with renowned singer Ali El Haggar.

A concert featuring a selection of works by the late maestro Ammar El Sherei was presented by the Cairo Opera House, accompanied by an orchestra conducted by Maestro Ahmed Atef. The event featured artists Hassan Fouad and Amany Samir and was directed by Ahmed Fouad.

The concert took place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, 5 June 2026, at the Main Hall.

The performance traced the artistic journey of Ammar El Sherei through a selection of his timeless melodies, highlighting his remarkable contribution to Egyptian music.
