A Spiritual Evening by Religious Song Ensemble at the Arab Music Institute

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, hosts a concert by the Religious Song Ensemble, conducted by Maestro Omar Farhat, at the Arab Music Institute on Friday, 24 May 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program features a selection of chants, hymns, and religious songs performed by Ehab Nada, Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Ahmed Bakr, Fares Abd El-Aal, Hossam Sakr, Bilal Mokhtar, Mohamed El Gazar and Nour Selim.
The Religious Song Ensemble was established in 1972 by the late composer Abdel Halim Nowera to preserve the religious singing tradition and train young talents in religious singing and invocations. The Ensemble regularly performs at the various Cairo Opera House venues across Cairo, Alexandria, and Damietta.
