An Unforgettable Evening by Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Tuhami, Fathy Salama & Dina El Wedidi at 32nd Citadel Festival for Music & Singing*

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, continues the awe-inspiring activities of the 32nd Citadel Festival for Music & Singing at Mahka Theatre on Tuesday, 20 August 2024.
At 8 p.m, Fathy Salama and Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Tuhami present a concert which is part of the “Sufism vs. Modernism” project established in cooperation between both artists several years ago. During the concert, Al-Tuhami’s Sufi chanting and Salama’s Oriental jazz are fused together into a perfect harmony resonating within the hearts of the listeners.
At 10 p.m., the young distinguished diva Dina El Wedidi presents a unique artistic blend in which traditional and folk songs are perfectly combined with modern music. El Wedidi also features a number of her popular singles
