Cairo Opera House Commemorates the Late "Musician of Generations" Mohamed Abdel Wahab

In an evening dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Golden Age of Arab Music, the Cairo Opera House,hosted a commemorative concert presented by Abdel Halim Noweira Ensemble for Arab Music under the baton of Maestro Ahmed Amer, marking the passing of the late "Musician of Generations," Mohamed Abdel Wahab. The concert took place at the Main Hall on Friday, 22 May 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

The concert’s program was a tribute to the "Eternal River" of Abdel Wahab's musical creativity. The stars of the ensemble performed a selection of his most iconic compositions, revisiting both the songs he famously performed himself and the timeless masterpieces he composed for other legendary singers of his time.
