Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, Chairman of the Cairo Opera House, Honored at Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts*

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Hanno, the Cairo Opera House participated in the 38th Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts held in the Kingdom of Jordan with a concert in honor of the prominent Egyptian singing star, Um Kulthum.
During the evening, masterpieces of the great diva were featured by Hanan El Khouly and Rehab Omar accompanied by the Arab Music Celebration Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Alaa Abdel Salam.
At the end of the concert, Dr. Haifa Najjar, the Jordanian Minister of Culture, and the festival administration honored Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, Chairman of the Cairo Opera House. Members of the Arab Music Celebration Orchestra also received certificates of appreciation in recognition of their outstanding artistic contribution.
