Gamal Bekheet and Mario Saeid: A Journey Between Poetry and Music

The Cairo Opera House, as part of its cultural and intellectual activities, organized an evening that brought together the renowned poet Gamal Bekheet, as the guest of honor, and oud player Mario Saeid in celebration of his 100th concert. The event was held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, 21 May 2026 at the Small Hall, and featured musical performances accompanied by an oriental ensemble.

Mario Saeid, an oud player and composer, graduated from the Arab Oud House and later worked there as an instructor. He founded his own musical ensemble and, both with his group and as a solo performer, presented numerous concerts.
