Heritage Arab Music Ensemble Concert Featured the Works of Karem Mahmoud and Faiza Ahmed at Gomhouria Theatre

The Heritage Arab Music Ensemble, conducted by Maestro Dr. Mohamed El Mougy, presented a distinguished concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, 14 May 2026 at Gomhouria Theatre.

The program featured a selection of masterpieces by both Karem Mahmoud and the “Nightingale of the East,” Faiza Ahmed.

It is worth mentioning that Cairo Opera House has always been keen on reviving the treasures of classical Arab music and presenting them to new generations in tribute to their legacy.
