Mariam” Exhibition at Salah Taher Gallery*

Salah Taher Gallery at the Cairo Opera House is hosting an exhibition titled "Mariam" by Mariam Waguih from Saturday, 17 August to Thursday, 22 August 2024.
The exhibition showcases around 55 paintings created using acrylic, ecoline, and pencil.
Mariam Waguih is the first Down Syndrome Fine Arts student in Egypt. She began her studies in 2018 at the Free Studies Section at the Faculty of Fine Arts studying graphics, sculpture, mural painting, and oil painting.
Mariam has participated in numerous international and local exhibitions.
She received several awards and was honored by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In recognition of her unusual talent, the Embassy of the USA in Cairo and UNICEF have praised her artistic work.
