Rehab Metawea & Marwa Hamdy, in “Kulthumiat” Concert Series

To preserve the heritage of Arab music and singing, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, continues its “Kulthumiat” concert series, under the baton of Maestro Salah Ghobashy, at the Arab Music Institute on Sunday, 9 June 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program includes a selection of Umm Kulthum’s iconic songs which were composed by great Arab musicians, featured by Rehab Metawea and Marwa Hamdy.
The “Kulthumiat” concert series, organized by the Cairo Opera House, aspires to pay tribute to the legacy of the legendary Egyptian singer, Umm Kulthum, and introduce her masterpieces to younger generations.
