The Opera Museum is located on the first floor of the Opera House, and inside it contains two wings. The first wing, which is for all the historical documents obtained from the families of pioneers. As for the second pavilion, it includes posters and catalogs for some of the important performances that were presented at the three opera theaters, as well as the most important cultural activities that were presented in them.

The first wing tells the history of the establishment of the old opera, as it was built during the reign of Khedive Ismail, who was fond of arts, so he used the Italian engineers "Fuscani and Rossi" in 1869, when it was built in six months by Egyptian hands. The museum has pictures of the old opera at the time of its burning in 1971, where only some statues of the artist Mohamed Hassan, which were at the entrance at that time, and rare photographs of the opera theater and its facade and its important places, and pictures of the most important performances that were presented on its stage, make up for the shape that it was, and make up for the facade of the old opera theater . It also tells the story of Opera Aida through the most important designs for clothes, jewelry and some musical notes for this opera. It also includes samples of brochures for the artistic performances that were presented on the stage of the opera house and a rare historical document written in Italian on the opera program and the names of the troupes and performances from 1869 to 1907.

As for the second wing, it is for the new opera house, which was opened in 1988. It includes a number of posters for the most important performances that were presented on its three theaters, “the big – the small – the open.” on one of its theatres. This part also includes a musical instrument representing a huge flute, 2.17 m in length and 10 cm in diameter. It is made of Frankincense ore and inlaid with natural seashells, a rare piano on which oriental maqam can be played, as well as gift clothes from the Austrian Opera. Also, in this suite there is a model of the new opera house building and some photographs of the opera building at the time of construction.
