Cairo Opera House presents Verdi's masterpiece, Un Ballo in Maschera, in three nights by Cairo Opera Company, under the supervision of its Artistic Director Dr. Emad Adel, accompanied by Cairo Opera Orchestra, led by the Italian maestro Elio Orciuolo, with the participation of the Cairo Opera Ballet Company, under the supervision of its artistic director and choreographer Erminia Kamel, the Cairo Opera Choir, under the supervision of Pascal Rozier, and directed by Hazem Tayel. It will take place on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, April 2, 3 and 5, at the Main Hall at 6:30 p.m. Noteworthy, the opera Un Ballo in Maschera was performed for the first time at the Apollo Theater in Rome (Italy) in 1859. The opera consists of 3 acts and takes place in Boston during the late seventeenth century.
