Amr Selim on Piano at Cairo Opera House

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamia Zayed, hosts a concert by the famous pianist Amr Selim at the Small Hall on Friday, 17 January 2025, at 8 p.m.
Selim has prepared a rich artistic program that includes famous Arab music works arranged for piano.
‏Egyptian pianist Amr Selim was interested in music since his childhood. He started playing the accordion and then switched to the piano. During the university years, Selim participated in competitions and won many awards. After graduating, he founded his first musical band and worked on rearranging rare songs. He accompanies the renowned Egyptian artist Medhat Saleh in all his concerts. He was honerd at several festivals, including the Arabic Music Festival in 2019 and Citadel Festival in 2021.
