Cairo Opera House Celebrates Al-Isra’ Wal Mi’raj at Gomhouria Theatre

The Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamia Zayed, holds a concerts celebrating Al-Isra’ Wal Mi’raj by the Religious Song Ensemble on the occasion of the Isra and Mi’rag at the Gomhouria Theatre on Sunday, 26 January 2025 at 8 p.m.
The concert features a selection of supplications, hymns, and traditional and contemporary religious songs.
The Religious Song Ensemble was established in 1972 by the late composer Abdel Halim Nowera to preserve the religious singing tradition and train young talents in religious singing and invocations. The Ensemble regularly performs at the various Cairo Opera House venues across Cairo, Alexandria, and Damietta.
