Cairo Opera House Kicks off the 33rd Edition of Citadel International Music and Singing Festival

During the evening, 12 public figures are honored due to their valuable contribution in enriching the artistic and cultural life in Egypt and the Arab world, along with names who have contributed to the success of previous editions.

Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, and Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, launches the 33rd edition of the Citadel International Music and Singing Festival on Friday, 15 August 2025 at Al Mahka Theatre.

The first night of the festival features a selection of famous Arab songs performed by Amira Ahmed, Hossam Hosni, and Ashraf Walid under the baton of Maestro Ihab Abdel Hamid.
In the second part of the evening, Wust El Balad rock the festival audience with their amazing music.
