“Spirits in the City” explores the legacy of the iconic musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab and visits his museum at the Arab Music Institute

As part of its cultural and intellectual activities, the Cairo Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, will hold an evening from the series “Spirits in the City”, prepared and presented by journalist Mahmoud El-Tamimi, under the supervision of Rasha El-Feki. The event is part of his cultural project Cairo Is My Address and will explore the world of the great composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab.

The evening will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Arab Music Institute, preceded by a visit to his museum located in the historical building.
