“Sweet Sound" at the Open Air Theatre and Medhat Saleh Captivates Alexandria Audiences.

As part of the 2026 Summer Festival for Music and Singing organized by the Cairo Opera House under the supervision of Dr. Reda El-Wakil, the opera stages hosted two remarkable musical evenings blending Western melodies and authentic Arabic singing.

At the Open Air Theatre in Cairo, the "Sweet Sound" band, conducted by Dr. Mounir Nasr El-Din, delivered a stellar performance featuring a curated selection of Western vocal and instrumental compositions that won the admiration of the appreciative audience.

Meanwhile, superstar Medhat Saleh performed a sold-out concert at Alexandria Opera House “Sayed Darwish Theatre”, accompanied by pianist and composer Amr Selim and his ensemble. Medhat Saleh performed a collection of his most beloved hits alongside traditional classics by legendary artists, earning enthusiastic applause and remarkable audience interaction.
