*Tarab Heritage at Arab Music Institute*

As part of the ongoing Egyptian cultural activities aimed at preserving the heritage of Arab singing, the Cairo Opera House, under the supervision of Dr. Lamiaa Zayed, is organizing a concert by the Heritage Arab Music Ensemble, under the baton of Maestro Mohamed El Mogy, at the Arab Music Institute on Sunday, 19 May 2024 at 8:30 p.m.
The concert’s program includes a wide array of famous Arab songs featured by Radwa Saeed, Hanan El Khouly, Asmaa Kamal, Ahmed Sabry, Mohamed Shawky, Ahmed Mohsen, and Yasser Suleiman.
The Heritage Arab Music Ensemble was founded to revive the Arab music heritage, a purely Egyptian legacy that was produced by a number of great musicians through successive generations. Members of the Heritage Arab Music Ensemble are selected from the most skilled musicians and distinguished voices of heritage keepers. Notably, the Ensemble performed its first concert at the Arab Music Institute in 2004.
